Fluoride is difficult to remove, so most purification brands avoid mentioning it. Standard purification methods, such as Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) and Carbon Blocks, will NOT remove fluoride. This includes all PUR, Brita, Aquasana, etc. filters on the market.
Outside of Distillation and Reverse Osmosis, both of which also remove ALL beneficial trace minerals, there are two primary ways to remove Fluoride. Activated Alumina and BC-Carbon.

We previously used Activated Alumina on all of our Fluoride filters here at AquaLiv Inc., but have since re-engineered our entire line for use with BC-Carbon. When it comes to designing filters systems, our commitment is to create the most effective, natural, and safe, systems possible- for you and the planet.
Customer Verified: We knew our all-natural fluoride reducing technology could remove near 100% of municipally added fluoride without also removing beneficial minerals. A customer with over 5x that amount of fluoride had our system tested and it still removed 81%! The testing laboratory was so impressed, they inquired about the make and model of filter.
